What a great few days and summers just around the corner:) after Bank holidays Monday top windsurf, Tuesday top bike ride and picnic in Holywells Park, Ipswich then today a lovely walk from the pretty Hemley Church to the River Deben coming back along an old hedge row by the marshes spotting yet another Marsh Harrier, White Throat, Black Cap and reed Buntings!
Then with 12 mph of wind forecast with wall to wall sunshine I headed down to The Dip after lunch but there was only 8/10 mph on the beach. I rigged anyway and had an hour floundering in the sun – way too hot in my wetsuit, shorty time just around the corner! I beat down the coast to The Fludgers and then ran back. I returned to the van for a snack hoping the breeze would fill in, sadly it didn’t but still a lovely few days, now off to work for a couple of days.
